Part One: Rocking Interviews

 1: How I can help.

A four-part series.

Before starting English Starz, I was the COO ( Chief of Operations) for a marketing and publishing company in the Pacific Northwest. Also, I have spent over 30 years in music, performance, and entertainment. I understand first-hand the power of self-promotion and marketing your brand. Communicating your story well makes all the difference. I have unique experience and knowledge from my professional life that I use to help you in learning English that is functional and supports your goal of being seen and heard in the West when English is not your first language.

I work with people who have some English language exposure and skill but who are not yet confident nor fluent in English. One of the most important things that I help my clients with is interviews.

Looking closer, I help my clients to establish their own interview style, method, practice and execution. Are you better at understanding English in writing, or spoken English? Do you struggle to express yourself because you are not confident about using the correct words? Knowing where you are in your English ability will help us to create a plan to help you succeed.

How do I do this?

With a four- part harmony, of course.

Style - You are an individual and have your own style of listening and level of understanding spoken English and accents. I help you to build on your strengths so that you can use them to support your weaker areas. When you know your particular learning, listening, and proficiency, you can be more confident and relaxed when you play to your style.

Method- Every interview is a moment to shine like a star. I help you to discover, create, and generate your method for handling interviews. We focus on putting together the method of interviewing that puts you in the best light and helps audiences to see your development and confidence in spoken English.

Practice- The best method for rocking interviews in spoken English is practice! Part of my educational background is in communication and journalism. To be a good journalist requires practicing your interview skills to get as much relevant information as possible in a short amount of time. The same goes for being interviewed. I have developed special practices for being interviewed that will help you to face interviews with confidence.

Execution-Let’s do this! It is important that YOU get to feel excited about each opportunity you have to express yourself personally, in English. In the beginning, doing so can feel intimidating, exhausting, and leave you feeling uncertain. That is why I help you to say what you need to say and do it in a way that leaves you feeling the glow of success.

Let’s face it, Reliance on an interpreter can limit your ability to shine in the West because audiences do not get to hear from you in a language that resonates with them. I can help you break down this barrier so that you are seen and heard clearly.

Let your audience feel the Love…

English Starz can help you to find the method, style, practice and execution that helps you to shine!
